White Metal is Back!
Almost all of the jewelry seen on the red carpet for this year’s Grammy Awards was white, with splashes of colored stones mixed in! We will see if this trend continues at the Oscars in about a month, stay tuned for our Oscar recap in early March.
Celine Dion in Tiffany & Co.
Celine Dion presented the Album of the Year Grammy to Taylor Swift, who won it for the fourth time. Celine featured an assortment of Tiffany & Co. jewelry. She wore diamond stud-style earrings, she also wore two standout diamond rings. These were accents to her center statement diamond necklace. The centerpiece of her incredible necklace was a round brilliant cut center diamond which was over 12 carats. The design of this piece was a dandelion shape which was built around the stunning center diamond. Taylor Swift in Lorraine Schwartz
The centerpiece of Taylor Swift’s look was her black stone Art Deco-inspired watch choker. The watch was set to midnight of course to pay homage to her new album coming out which she announced after receiving her award. Her black stone watch choker was accented with another diamond choker and a necklace that featured another large black diamond. Below is a picture of Taylor’s impressive jewelry look.
Victoria Monet in Bulgari High Jewelry
Victoria Monet was nominated for seven Grammy awards. The featured item in her outfit was a Bulgari High Jewelry Serpenti necklace in pink gold. The necklace was accented with two large pear-cut emeralds on the ends of the serpenti style which paired perfectly with the pink-gold color. Monet also wore a pink and white gold necklace that featured 55 marquise cut Paraiba tourmalines, a pair of Bulgari diamond studs, and multiple Serpenti rings to carry along the theme set by her necklace. Lippa’s Red Carpet Worthy Choices
Finally, we want to include a couple of pieces from our inventory that we think are red-carpet-worthy.
First, is our 15 Carat Platinum Diamond Graduated Tennis Necklace. This happens to be a similar style that Taylor Swift wore in her layered look this year.
